It is on the day of the village festival, St Laurent, that the musical sculpture "Frontière" will be inaugurated, located on the church square in the heart of the village of Châtel.
Composed of 26 bells mounted on two pedestals facing each other, it evokes two countries that the border separates and brings closer together. 15 metres wide by 4 metres high, it will animate and create an atmosphere of harmony and unity thanks to a repertoire of 100 melodies!
It embellishes the village square, which already offers a wonderful landscape on the surrounding emblematic peaks. The Paccard Foundry designed this work and manufactured the bells, which were poured in Châtel on September 28 and 29.
It is still possible until August 10, 2019 to become a patron of this magnificent musical work by contacting the Town Hall.
